About the role
- Review all product deliverables ensuring the content is consistent, accurate and complete, following the style guide for the agency
- Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation including user guides, API docs, FAQs, and release notes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand technical information
- Simplify complex concepts into easy-to-understand content
- Manage documentation updates in response to product changes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts
- This position requires an active Public Trust clearance. The selected qualified candidate must be able to successfully pass a DHS/TSA background investigation and clearance process.
