About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops key strategies and activities for stakeholder engagement and is responsible for on-track implementation.
- Identifies, cultivates, maintains, and tracks strong and persistent stakeholder relationships; supports similar efforts among leadership team, as needed.
- Ensures awareness of CalMTA among energy efficiency industry groups and key audiences.
- Facilitates information sharing between CalMTA and partners on MTI development and deployment.
- Works collaboratively to develop updates and materials for partners and stakeholders.
- Manages regular collaboration meetings with non-CalMTA efficiency program and implementer contacts including confirmation of agendas and support for staff on delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Located or willing to relocate to California within 30 days of acceptance.
- Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in marketing, communications and/or stakeholder engagement.
- A bachelor’s degree in general business or marketing, communication, journalism or similar field; experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience and understanding of energy efficiency industry. Knowledge of market transformation is preferred.
- Strong experience in software platforms such as Salesforce, PowerPoint, Constant Contact, Asana, analytics and other platforms.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Strong writing and capability of sharing complicated concepts.
- High degree of inter-cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

- The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $115,000-$150,000.
