About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- drive the category strategy and procurement execution for Capital Projects, Assets & Construction
- act as a critical interface between Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Engineering, Facilities, and Global Procurement
- translate technical and project requirements into effective sourcing strategies
- optimize cost, quality, delivery, and long-term value
- develop and execute sourcing strategies across Capital Investments
- manage supplier relationships and commercial negotiations
- support manufacturing capacity expansion and infrastructure investments
- evaluate automation equipment, construction, and facility solutions
- establish long-term supplier relationships
- influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership on sourcing, investment, and supplier-related decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering , Business, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, category management, portfolio management, or related disciplines with significant exposure to Capital Projects, Assets & Construction
- Solid understanding and experience of procurement strategies for construction contracts, risk management and controls >$100m
- Experience sourcing engineered-to-order manufacturing equipment and managing associated commercial, technical, installation, commissioning, start-up and warranty requirements. >$1m - $20m
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical, operational, and project requirements into sourcing strategies, supported by strong commercial acumen, business case development, supplier management, and complex contract negotiations
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders
