About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborates with the National Account Manager to develop and implement the strategic growth plan for designated customer(s)
  • Assists in driving account revenue growth, profitability, and the adoption of ResMed solutions
  • Works with the NAM to develop sales goals for each account and reports on sales trends
  • Drives key Resmed sales initiatives with regional/local management of assigned account/s
  • Generates and analyzes intelligence necessary to communicate direction and leadership to the sales teams
  • Elicits feedback on customer/market needs
  • Establishes, visits, and preserves an active network of both internal and external customers
  • Maintains knowledge of reimbursement environments affecting customer product lines, including non-ResMed services
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of successful outside sales performance in a business-to-business sale is required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Salesforce.com
  • Ability to effectively analyze sales figures and provide accurate sales forecasting
  • Ability to read, research, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports and professional business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Prior top-ranked Medical / Business-to-Business Sales
  • Motivated individual with demonstrated execution and results focus and accountability for continuous self-improvement along with an ability to act with a sense of urgency in all pursuits
