About the role
- Lead a team of skilled engineers to design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes and technologies for injection molding and related operations
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to build a high-performing engineering team
- Oversee development, validation, and optimization of molding processes, equipment, and methodologies
- Implement digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability
- Manage manufacturing projects to meet timelines, budgets, and quality objectives
- Partner with Operations, Product Development, Global Supplier Alliance, and Senior Management to align deliverables
- Ensure adherence to GMP, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical industries
- Strong knowledge of process validation, GMP, and regulatory compliance
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing technical teams in dynamic environments
- Expertise in injection molding, automation, and high-volume manufacturing
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with digital manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 initiatives is preferred
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
