About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of systems that support storage, processing, and retrieval of the Bank’s data products
Supporting the delivery of two brand new data collections
Implementing changes, resolving defects, applying upgrades, and adding new data to meet evolving business needs
Work closely with colleagues across the Operations Group to evolve the data engineering practice using appropriate frameworks and tools and consistently applying these to daily work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong knowledge of data modelling, including normalised and dimensional models techniques
Skilled in SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and end-to-end ETL/ELT processes
Experience in Azure cloud environments
Experience supporting analytics and reporting platforms, including enabling curated datasets for tools such as Power BI
Familiarity with Python
Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies, Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including build and deployment across environments
