About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for ensuring there is a risk and compliance lens to all BAU business-as-usual activities, strategy development and project management
Support the identification and rectification of weaknesses that could be damaging from a financial, operational, legal or reputational perspective
Ensure we balance our risk appetite to achieve our strategic objectives
Responsible for supporting risk and compliance monitoring and reporting to management and the Board
Support and coordinate continuous improvement of our risk management and compliance frameworks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in a comparable risk and compliance role in financial or professional services or a government entity
Experienced in risk management and compliance principles and practices and their application to a large, complex business
The ability to influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders across different levels of leadership
Well-developed self-management skills, implementing action plans and effectively achieving agreed objectives on time
High level of integrity, initiative, conduct, judgement and discretion
