Senior Sales Manager – Marketing Solutions, Life Sciences

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Close net-new and expansion digital advertising business across a dedicated portfolio of pharma, biotech, and scientific brands.
- Run structured, deeply analytical discovery sessions to understand brand objectives and build tailored, insight-led digital media and content strategy proposals.
- Confidently pitch to and steer deals through complex brand teams, digital marketing leads, agency partners, and procurement.
- Build and execute long-term account roadmaps to scale our share of wallet and maximize ad spend within key organizations.
- Partner closely with Account Management and Ad Ops to ensure ad campaigns perform flawlessly against client KPIs, securing renewals and long-term retention.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of closing experience in B2B digital advertising, ad-tech, digital media sales, or publisher solutions.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising metrics (CPM, CTR, lead generation, brand awareness) and how life science marketers allocate budgets.
- Experience selling into pharma, biotech, or life sciences—or managing these verticals from an ad agency perspective—is a strong plus.
- A proactive hunter mindset. You are comfortable prospecting, mapping out marketing departments, and building your own pipeline without relying on inbound leads.
- Strong commercial instinct. You know how to qualify rigorously, multi-thread within complex marketing organizations, and close high-value ad contracts
