About the role
- Developing and supporting system-level test solutions.
- Preparing and executing comprehensive system and component-level test plans, procedures, and test events.
- Participating in integrated testing activities and helping resolve conflicts across competing systems.
- Documenting test requirements, methodologies, and results.
- Reviewing system engineering documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with testing needs.
- Supporting the development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios for software/hardware integration testing.
- Monitoring system performance trends and proactively identifying risks or issues.
- Suggesting process and product improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software/system testing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Experience writing detailed test plans, procedures, and scenarios
- Hands-on experience testing software in distributed or networked environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working within Agile development practices
- Proficiency with the Atlassian tool suite—JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Experience using automation testing tools, such as Selenium WebDriver (even better)
- Background working with Department of Defense Command and Control (C2) Systems (even better)
