About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide applied electrical engineering and technical expertise for customers
- Perform power system engineering assessments of electric power systems
- Assess results and prepare written reports of findings and proposals
- Perform electrical design improvements primarily to support upgrades
- Meet customers on-site and review and identify their needs
- Provide Engineering cost estimates and bid proposals
- Provide technical support and quality control for assigned projects
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years' experience
- Ability to register as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in California
- ETAP or SKM Software experience is an asset
- Proven skills in written and oral communication of technical topics
- Ability to run small to medium studies and projects under direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
