About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide applied electrical engineering and technical expertise for customers
Perform power system engineering assessments of electric power systems
Assess results and prepare written reports of findings and proposals
Perform electrical design improvements primarily to support upgrades
Meet customers on-site and review and identify their needs
Provide Engineering cost estimates and bid proposals
Provide technical support and quality control for assigned projects
Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
0-2 years' experience
Ability to register as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in California
ETAP or SKM Software experience is an asset
Proven skills in written and oral communication of technical topics
Ability to run small to medium studies and projects under direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
