About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own our Kubernetes operator: the control plane that provisions, configures, and manages Rerun Hub deployments
Deep customer onboarding for new infrastructure requirements
Ensure production reliability and scale through observability, CI/CD, incident response, and deployment experience
Follow-the-sun on-call with the rest of the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

A strong software engineering background
Deep Kubernetes experience, specifically with the operator pattern
Proficiency in Go and ability to read and contribute to an asynchronous Rust codebase
Solid experience with AWS, infrastructure-as-code (ideally Terraform/OpenTofu)
Comfort being customer-adjacent
Great communication in English, an ownership mindset, and a curious, helpful attitude.
Experience with high-throughput, time-series, or analytical database systems (Bonus)
Background in data-intensive infrastructure (Bonus)
