About the role

Configure and manage JIRA projects, workflows, custom fields, and permissions
Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions; ensure proper access control and user support
Perform regular JIRA system maintenance including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning
Diagnose and resolve issues related to JIRA software and plugins; provide technical support to end-users
Develop and maintain JIRA dashboards, filters, and reports to provide insights into project status and performance
Gather data from various sources including JIRA, databases, and external systems; integrate and clean data for analysis
Analyze data trends, patterns, and anomalies; generate reports and visualizations to support business decisions
Provide actionable insights and recommend improvements for processes and systems
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure analysis meets business requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or related experience
5 years of progressive experience in system administration, data analysis, or a related technical role
Proven experience in JIRA administration and support
Strong experience with data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools
Proficiency in JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, and related Atlassian tools
Experience with JIRA plugins and extensions (e.g., ScriptRunner, eazyBI)
Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
