About the role
- Analyzing the needs of various functional business areas within Republic Services and recommending system solutions or procedures.
- Liaison between the business and IT department, ensuring scope of work is clearly documented, communicated, and validated.
- Working closely with IT technical team and/or vendors to design, develop, document and test solutions.
- Facilitating system enhancement requests and coordinatiing related enhancement release schedule with product owner and stakeholders.
- Coordinating the process of obtaining functional requirements from business stakeholders using elicitation techniques.
- Researching and analyzing proposed projects to determine feasibility.
- Creating detailed documentation of user requirements and partnering with the development team to document specifications.
- Supporting quality assurance and control efforts using data analysis/profiling.
- Responsible for status reporting, knowledge transfer and implementation plans.
Requirements
- Experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis
- Business Analysis or Project Management Professional certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business or technical analysis role.
