About the role
- Identify and implement third party waste disposal and recycling solutions.
- Review inbound waste profiles and related documents.
- Provide customers with safe and compliant environmental solutions.
- Minimize operational costs and drive income.
- Provide bid and pricing support.
- Conduct third party waste shipment analysis.
- Prepare reports and provide analysis to senior leadership and internal stakeholders as appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience working at a RCRA Part B permitted TSDF
- Experience negotiating pricing and customer terms.
- 4 - 7 years of overall relevant work experience.
- Expert knowledge of RCRA, DOT, TSCA and state regulations.
- Knowledge of waste characterization principles and practices including analysis and evaluation, and waste processing protocols.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze waste volumes and vendor spend information to suggest cost savings.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects or tasks with varying and sometimes competing timelines.
- Advanced analytical and decision-making abilities.
