About the role

  • Proactively advance and secure sales within your designated territory
  • Service the needs of existing sales accounts
  • Drive incremental business growth through informed and consultative selling techniques
  • Educate customers on the right products
  • Introduce new products and close gaps in existing distribution
  • Visit accounts frequently to provide service and maximize revenue potential
  • Establish individual sales plan based on customer needs
  • Set the overall selling plan for each customer
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure accurate and prompt order delivery
  • Responsible for merchandising activities if no Support rep partner
  • Develop sales skills and knowledge of products, services, and customers
  • May involve working nights and weekends on promotional activities and other account activities

Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; Four year college degree, preferred
  • 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires a current, valid state drivers license, ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the company.
  • Strong client skills and experience understanding customer needs.
