About the role
- Develop automation solutions and tools using Terraform and Atlantis to centrally manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to enable reliable Continuous Deployment.
- Monitor and ensure system stability using advanced observability practices via Elastic Cloud (APM, logs, and event correlation).
- Perform blue/green and canary deployments to minimize impact and mitigate risks when making production changes.
- Plan and execute updates to infrastructure, tooling, and workflows, prioritizing automation and scalability.
- Ensure the reliability of distributed systems by focusing on availability, performance, and proactive incident prevention.
- Collaborate with development teams to align practices with SRE principles (including Error Budgets and SLIs/SLOs).
Requirements
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform, and centralized management via Atlantis.
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, including automation of build, test, and deploy processes.
- Deployment strategies (blue/green and canary) and Continuous Deployment practices.
- Version control with Git.
- Proficiency with operating systems (Linux and Windows).
- Programming languages: Python, Go, or Java (at least one with strong proficiency).
- Observability using Elastic Cloud (APM, logs, and event correlation).
- Cloud computing experience (preferably AWS).
- Databases: SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience in high-availability, scalable production environments.
