About the role

  • Lead end-to-end design processes from user research to final implementation
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for technical products
  • Partner closely with engineering to understand technical constraints and opportunities
  • Participate in product planning and technical architecture discussions
  • Translate technical concepts into accessible user experiences
  • Design APIs, developer tools, and technical documentation experiences
  • Create designs that scale with system complexity and data volume
  • Build and maintain design systems and component-based design thinking
  • Influence product direction and user adoption in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product design experience, with at least 1+ years designing technical products
  • Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and software development processes
  • Familiarity with frontend development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
  • Experience designing for APIs, databases, or developer tools
  • Understanding of system architecture and data flow concepts
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) is a plus
  • Ability to lead end-to-end design from research to implementation
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible user experiences
  • Ability to work from Foster City, CA office 3 days per week (Mon/Wed/Fri)
  • Willingness to relocate to Foster City, CA if not currently in the Bay Area (application asks)
  • Authorization to work in the United States; application asks about visa sponsorship
