About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Reporting to Repligen's Sr. Director – Strategic Sourcing this position requires a driven individual whose knowledge and skills will help us take our Strategic Sourcing team to the next level.
This position is responsible for $100M+ Indirect spend, and all activities relative to adequate sourcing of Repligen’s goods and services.
Must have experience with Indirect spend categories, such as Logistics, IT / Software, and Professional Business Services.
This position supports the entire Source to Contract process, including Sourcing engagements and provides core expertise for Contracting, Negotiation, Benchmarking, Supplier Performance Management, Financial Management, Relationship Management, and Risk Management lifecycles.
You will lead and support the development of strategies, processes, and talent to ensure the robustness of sourced materials and services.
Responsible for Sourcing engagements while creating and driving collaboration with site procurement teams, and stakeholders.
Develop, maintain, and execute on a three-year pipeline of savings and value plans in alignment with business and corporate strategies that delivers sustainable procurement value.
Prepare, issue, and manage Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
Ensure that all relevant information is accurately communicated to suppliers and that deadlines are met.
Evaluate responses to ensure they meet Repligen’s requirements and standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all necessary information is included and accurately reflects project needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

B. S. degree or equivalent experience; degree in supply chain management/operations a plus.
10+ years business experience
Excellent partnering and negotiation skills
Understanding of the true total cost of ownership impact of decisions and ability to build clear business cases to support the collective efforts required to achieve sourcing savings
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to set context, simplify complex concepts, and drive diverse teams to decision and action.
Ability to demonstrate effective prioritization skills in a fast-paced, team environment under time constraints.
Ability to effectively lead and facilitate meetings with cross functional teams and drive appropriate actions.
Life sciences industry experience preferred.
