About the role

  • You translate ICPs and buyer personas into precise sourcing criteria, queries, and filters.
  • Clay GTM engineering: automate and optimize workflows using Clay, Zapier, and Make.
  • You build, maintain, and optimize lead lists for campaigns: from hypothesis formation to delivery.
  • You ensure freshness, validity, and ICP fit of data.
  • You track time-to-list, cost-per-lead, and call-to-connect rates, with clear, logical documentation to ensure reproducibility.
  • You monitor source performance (e.g., A/B tests of segments), form hypotheses (new industries, roles, company sizes) and drive optimizations.
  • Close coordination with our Customer Success team as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • You define blueprints, sourcing standards by industry, best practices, a top data-sources matrix (quality-cost-speed), and automated reporting setups.
  • You keep an eye on trends (new tools, data-privacy updates) and introduce new, data-driven initiatives internally—never theoretical.

Requirements

  • Data- and detail-oriented: you love spreadsheets, queries, and clean data.
  • Sourcing pro: very confident with Clay; nice to have: comparable tools such as Apollo and Google APIs.
  • You can derive filter and sourcing logic from ICPs.
  • Analyst with impact: A/B testing, hypothesis-driven experiments, and performance tracking are part of your daily work.
  • Tech fit: 1–2 years in Sales Ops, RevOps, Growth or a similar role; an affinity for automation is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in German (for precise documentation, presentations and potential client meetings) and strong English (C1).
  • Team player with initiative: ownership, the ability to dig in independently, and to contribute ideas.
  • Curiosity: you dig through tools, data universes and error sources until everything runs smoothly.
  • Interest in B2B sales and outbound campaigns, plus initial experience with sales/automation tools (e.g., Clay, Zapier, Make) or the willingness to learn them.
