Lead and manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities
Prepare, review, and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and divisional leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and operational decision-making
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity
Identify and lead process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to drive efficiency and scalability in accounting operations
Support external audit requirements and act as a key liaison with auditors and other external stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA designation required (MBA or Master’s a plus)
5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate accounting leadership
Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven ability to prepare and review GAAP financial statements
Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team while also being hands-on in day-to-day accounting tasks
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Skilled communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
