About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the operation, further development and standardization of central infrastructure platforms in a global environment
Planning and implementation of infrastructure projects and migrations
Collaboration with engineering, automation and cyber security teams
Implementation of regulatory requirements in accordance with GMP/GxP
Supporting operations and the continuous improvement of security controls in line with ISO 27001
Operation and further development of the global Extreme Networks infrastructure
Analysis and remediation of complex network and security incidents
Secure integration of manufacturing, laboratory and building systems into corporate IT
Ensuring operation and lifecycle management of VMware-based Windows server platforms
Ensuring operation and lifecycle management of Microsoft Windows Server on the Azure platform
Software distribution, patch management and compliance monitoring
Operation and further development of Microsoft SCCM/MECM
Administration and further development of the Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID environment
Participation in ITAM activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in computer science, applied computer science or a comparable degree / vocational training
Several years of experience in an enterprise infrastructure environment, ideally with Extreme Networks
Excellent knowledge of VMware vSphere and VMware ESXi
Excellent knowledge of Windows Server environments including AD, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, GPO and PKI
Knowledge of Zero Trust, NAC and VPN technologies
Knowledge of SCCM/MECM
Knowledge of Windows client management
Ideally experience in GMP/GxP/ISO 27001 environments
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
High degree of personal responsibility and reliability
Strong customer and service orientation
Analytical and structured working style
Strong communication skills in international teams
