About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in strategy and standards development
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems, applications, and networks
- Oversee the technical aspects of relevant systems and ensure they are secure, scalable, and reliable
- Provide guidance on the latest technologies and trends in the industry
- Lead technical projects, manage vendor relationships, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Mentor fellow engineers
- Anticipate user’s and client’s needs during solution building
- Ensure systems are available and performing as expected
- Identify and implement new technologies that improve efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ Year’s experience in relevant technology functions
- Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining complex IT systems
- Experience in multiple technical areas such as infrastructure, software development, security, and cloud technologies preferred
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentorship to fellow engineers
- Experience in working on technical projects from inception to completion
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Extensive experience in working with IT vendors and service providers preferred
- Extensive experience in assisting in the management of IT budgets
