Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the daily operations of the first party auto claims department.
Ensure the timely, accurate, and fair resolution of claims filed by company branches.
Direct and supervise a team of 1st party auto adjusters.
Monitor workflow and pending counts to ensure equitable distribution of assignments.
Conduct regular file audits to ensure compliance with company Best Practices.
Review and approve settlements exceeding the adjuster authority levels.
Collaborate with the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) to identify and mitigate fraudulent claims.
Analyze claims data to identify trends and implement process improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in auto insurance claims
3+ years in a supervisory or management role
Relevant industry certifications (AIC,CPCU) preferred
Active adjuster licenses in required jurisdictions preferred
