About the role
- Provide data analytical support for identification of procurement initiatives focused on cost reduction, process improvement, and improved supplier performance
- Develop and manage category and vendor strategies to meet the relevant categories financial and service objectives
- Lead or support competitive bid initiatives, including proposal evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management
- Lead negotiations to deliver the objectives set out in the sourcing strategies
Requirements
- Procurement (or relevant) experience of over 1-3 years required
- RFx process management experience
- Project/Product management experience
- Experience with procurement best practices and a successful track record in Procurement, managing related spend in a corporate environment preferred
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives while meeting objectives and deadlines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation and communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of employees
