About the role

  • Provide data analytical support for identification of procurement initiatives focused on cost reduction, process improvement, and improved supplier performance
  • Develop and manage category and vendor strategies to meet the relevant categories financial and service objectives
  • Lead or support competitive bid initiatives, including proposal evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management
  • Lead negotiations to deliver the objectives set out in the sourcing strategies

Requirements

  • Procurement (or relevant) experience of over 1-3 years required
  • RFx process management experience
  • Project/Product management experience
  • Experience with procurement best practices and a successful track record in Procurement, managing related spend in a corporate environment preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives while meeting objectives and deadlines
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of employees
