About the role

  • Accountable for improving AR performance through concise AR Aging metrics
  • Identify and resolve customer issues related to slow pay or non-payment of invoices through proactive communication with clients and with internal teams
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with Rentable customers
  • Become proficient in understanding the company's AR-Collections life cycle, especially related to root cause analysis and AR aging prevention within a 3-month time frame
  • Record and document daily outreach calls/emails
  • Own and monitor the accounts receivable email inbox and respond to emails and voicemails promptly
  • Meet and exceed monthly AR collection goals
  • Balance portfolio performance with supporting occasional projects and ad hoc reporting requests 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
  • Experience working in Multifamily or Proptech space preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize workload
  • Work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and stay flexible through growth and change
