About the role
- Accountable for improving AR performance through concise AR Aging metrics
- Identify and resolve customer issues related to slow pay or non-payment of invoices through proactive communication with clients and with internal teams
- Develop and maintain a professional relationship with Rentable customers
- Become proficient in understanding the company's AR-Collections life cycle, especially related to root cause analysis and AR aging prevention within a 3-month time frame
- Record and document daily outreach calls/emails
- Own and monitor the accounts receivable email inbox and respond to emails and voicemails promptly
- Meet and exceed monthly AR collection goals
- Balance portfolio performance with supporting occasional projects and ad hoc reporting requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
- Experience working in Multifamily or Proptech space preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of and/or experience with QuickBooks Online
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize workload
- Work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and stay flexible through growth and change
