About the role
- Maintain and monitor the license inventory.
- Document license agreements and terms.
- Ensure that software and system licenses in use comply with requirements.
- Analyze license requirements in collaboration with business units and the IT department.
- Negotiate and conclude license agreements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide internal advice and training to employees on licensing topics.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT business administrator, systems IT specialist, or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiar with license management software and IT infrastructures.
- Experience with software audits by major vendors.
- Extensive knowledge of licensing law, IT management, and contract management.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
- Ability to analyze and optimize complex licensing structures.
- Negotiation skills and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player with a willingness to support other departments.
