About the role
- Disciplinary and technical leadership of our Key Account Management team of 15 employees for our E- and V-warehouse sales division at the Hannover site.
- Develop and implement long-term, strategic account management strategies in alignment with the segment strategy.
- Direct management and maintenance of key customers at both national and international levels.
- Ensure excellent customer retention and identify and expand growth opportunities.
- Responsible for the commercial handling from offer to order.
- Set and monitor sales targets, including budget planning and control.
- Ensure the implementation of strategic objectives in daily operations and maximize profitability in Key Account Management.
- Work closely with other departments such as Product Management, Marketing, Engineering and Production to develop tailored solutions for key customers and ensure customer requirements are considered in product development.
- Adapt structures and processes to our growing sales volume.
- Prepare market and customer analyses and implement required measures.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Demonstrable key account experience and ideally sales experience.
- Business-fluent English skills (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel internationally.
