About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists and social workers to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Provide supervision for PRP workers who conduct therapeutic interventions and support to clients, adapting approaches based on progress and feedback.
  • Educate clients and their families on rehabilitation processes, coping strategies, and community resources to promote sustained recovery.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and communications to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations.
  • Support PRP staff with service delivery and documentation.
  • Assist with IRP review and compliance monitoring.
  • Ensure monthly contact requirements are met.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Mental Health professional license (LGSW, LGPC, LCPC or LCSW-C)
  • Rehabilitation Counselor certification or Bachelor’s prepared certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner certified by the U.S. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association
  • 24/7 On-call availability for client crisis needs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 2 years of direct care experience working with emotionally disturbed youth, adults and/or families; addictions experience is a plus
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Maryland PRP regulations (COMAR) preferred
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in the community
