Senior Staff Strategic Account Manager
Renesas ElectronicsGlobal Account Manager for Renesas focusing on revenue growth and managing major accounts in semiconductor industry. Leading the entire sales lifecycle with a focus on high-profile global industrial conglomerates.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a multi-year sales strategy to maximize revenue and position Renesas as a strategic partner for a high-profile global industrial conglomerate.
- Lead the entire sales lifecycle, including opportunity discovery, technical design-in activity, and final revenue conversion.
- Indirectly lead and align a global team of account managers and technical resources to ensure consistent execution across international locations.
- Promote and sell integrated "Winning Combination" solutions, leveraging Renesas’ broad portfolio of MCUs, Analog, and Power products.
- Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts while managing regional POS and backlog data.
- Partner closely with Field Application Engineers (FAEs) and Business Unit leads to align Renesas’ product roadmap with the customer’s long-term technical needs.
- Build and maintain deep-level relationships across the customer’s engineering, purchasing, and executive leadership teams.
- Coordinate with procurement and distribution partners to ensure seamless fulfillment and supply chain support globally and within the Southeast territory.
- Lead global cross-functional internal teams to resolve technical or commercial roadblocks with high energy and focus.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of technical and executive-level selling experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Proven track record of growing major accounts and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
- Experience owning the full sales funnel, from opportunity discovery to design-in and revenue conversion.
- Demonstrated ability to lead global cross-functional teams and indirectly manage international account teams.
- Strong technical background with the ability to sell solution-based silicon and complex system architectures.
- Excellent customer interaction, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with engineering and executive leadership.
- Results-driven and analytical approach to delivering accurate revenue forecasts and managing business data.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a global role with required travel.
- Previous experience managing a high-profile, multi-billion dollar global industrial conglomerate is strongly desired.
