About the role
- Lead the Expansion team to drive the development of zero-to-one products that meet the evolving needs of mid-market and enterprise development teams
- Drive successful cross-functional coordination across Design, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Leadership to deliver on high-impact initiatives
- Build strong relationships with largest customers to uncover insights that shape product direction and go-to-market strategies
- Champion and refine Render's top-level business strategy for serving enterprises and scaling teams in collaboration with leadership
- Foster a high-performing and positive team culture
- Design and build Render's developer pipeline tooling
- Identify and advocate for strategic partnerships that serve mid-market and enterprise customers
- Prioritize and deliver observability, management, and security features to meet the compliance needs of Render's largest customers
- Build new services or add new functionality to existing platform features to better meet the needs of mid-market and enterprise customers
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to learn more about mid-market and enterprise customers and share this knowledge within the organization
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a Product Management role, with most of that time working on Enterprise or core product teams or similar at a product-led growth and/or developer tools company
- Experience and confidence in navigating the ambiguous, 0-to-1 phase of a new product area
- Ability to inspire and champion big ideas that have a massive impact on the business and our customers
- A love of high-quality, well-crafted user experiences and strong intuition for developer tools
- Strong, successful track record of managing products with deep technical and business complexity
- Ability to proactively anticipate challenges and the downstream effects of decisions, and take appropriate action to address
- A knack for balancing user insights and data with creativity and intuition to identify novel but simple solutions to problems
- Exceptional communication skills across writing and conversation
- Experience as a developer professionally or a technical background (nice-to-have)
- Experience in a customer-facing role such as customer success or sales, particularly for a developer platform (nice-to-have)
