About the role

  • Lead, structure and further develop the accounts receivable and accounts payable areas comprising 15 team members
  • Serve as the point of contact and interface for payers (health insurers, long-term care funds, district authorities, etc.)
  • Support the general ledger team in preparing reports (financial statements, balance sheets, etc.)
  • Monthly reporting to executive management
  • Accounts receivable: ensure timely invoicing of services and monthly monitoring of open items (OPOS) and valuation entries
  • Dunning/collections (claims against third parties in the area of care and service provision)
  • Accounts, invoicing, account coding
  • Accounts payable: accounts, master data, verification, posting, open-item management (OPOS), payment transactions

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in a leadership role within accounting
  • Solid expertise in accounts receivable/accounts payable and experience in collections/claims management
  • Determination and strong leadership skills combined with necessary interpersonal competence
  • Good communication skills, flexibility, attention to detail and reliability
  • Proficiency with DATEV
  • Experience in optimizing work processes
