About the role
- Lead, structure and further develop the accounts receivable/accounts payable teams (15 employees)
- Point of contact and interface for cost bearers (health insurance companies, long-term care insurance funds, district offices, etc.)
- Support the general ledger accounting team in preparing reports (financial statements, balance sheets, etc.)
- Monthly reporting to the executive management
- Accounts receivable: ensure timely billing of services and monthly monitoring of open items (OPOS) and valuation positions
- Dunning/collections (claims against third parties in the area of care and service provision)
- Accounts, invoicing and account assignment
- Accounts payable: accounts, master data, verification, postings, open items management, payment transactions
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in a leadership role in accounting
- Solid expertise in accounts receivable/accounts payable and experience in receivables management
- Determination and strong leadership skills combined with the required social competence
- Good communication skills, flexibility, attention to detail and reliability
- Knowledge of DATEV
- Experience in optimizing work processes
