About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Technically implement multiple new customers onto Remote’s Global Payroll solution platform accurately and within agreed timescales.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Payroll customers during setup and transition.
Analyze customers’ payroll needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
Direct and manage new-customer implementations from relationship start through handover.
Obtain required customer and employee payroll data for new payroll setups per legal entity.
Configure Remote’s Global Payroll system for each customer.
Coordinate parallel payroll runs and reconcile wage-based taxes.
Verify payroll and tax setup complies with statutory regulations.
Coordinate and communicate payroll Go-Live.
Hand over accurate payroll to the Remote Payroll Operations team.
Communicate effectively with customers, teammates, supervisors and vendors.
Establish positive customer relationships and contribute to customer retention.
Provide support and training on payroll processes and country-specific payroll needs.
Respond to customer and internal requests and issues with accurate information and effective follow-up.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and employee information.
Create and maintain process documentation.
Work with internal teams to improve the platform and complete UAT testing through shipping.
Report to the Manager, Global Payroll Implementations; no direct reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of Global Payroll Implementation Experience with statutory tax regulations and payroll processing knowledge.
Several years of Global Payroll Technical Implementation set-up experience, on local payroll software.
Excellent understanding of end-to-end Global Payroll and HR processes.
Work experience in payroll operations and statutory requirements.
Experience in accounting reconciliations.
Excellent data management skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Experienced in handling multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
A technical aptitude with computer literacy, data analysis and critical thinking.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, international work environment.
Ability to work independently, autonomously and take ownership and responsibility of tasks and requests.
Customer-care orientation and ability to build client relationships.
Interest in improving work through automations.
Proficient in using Google Sheets or Excel.
Ability to work within a MacBook Pro environment.
Understanding of asynchronous work.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Experience working remotely is a plus, not required.
Working knowledge of Notion, Slack, Zendesk, Monday.com and Salesforce is a plus, not required.
Working knowledge of DACH payroll software is a plus, not required.
