About the role
- Develop deep understanding of external and internal customer needs and payroll pain points
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions providing an exceptional payroll experience
- Lead in development teams and collaborate with operations, compliance, sales, product marketing and other internal experts
- Build a scalable payroll platform serving 80+ markets worldwide
- Lead efforts across engineering, design, and operations to launch high-impact projects
- Shape and deliver focused product improvements and advance team KPIs
- Collaborate with partner teams to connect roadmap to stakeholder needs and ensure operational requirements are met
- Lead by example on asynchronous workflows and transparency
- Use AI tools to increase productivity, decision-making, and workflow efficiency
Requirements
- Experience as a senior product manager working in a multi-product, high-growth scale-up company
- Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and HR functions
- Hands-on experience building payroll software and systems (preferred)
- Experience launching products or features that leveraged AI
- Great judgment for strategic (prioritization) and tactical (feature scope) decisions
- Data-driven product management experience setting and tracking goals
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills across departments (operations, business, sales, finance)
- Business-level proficiency in writing and speaking English
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- 'Can do' attitude and ability to dig into problems and work collaboratively with speed and efficiency
