Serving as the directly responsible individual (DRI) for Commercial Legal and leading the team to provide excellent legal support for sales, partnership, and vendor contract reviews and negotiations. Ensure sufficient and timely support at month-end and quarter-end.
Empowering GTM teams to go upmarket and close enterprise-level customers by upgrading commercial terms and templates, simplifying sales contracting processes, and proactively training GTM teams in close collaboration with Legal and GTM stakeholders.
Providing strategic support to Partnership teams on deal negotiations and bespoke terms drafting that captures business intent while maintaining commerciality for timely deal closure.
Collaborating with revenue operations and legal operations teams to automate workflows and leverage AI for increased contracting efficiency. Maintain the CLM system and relevant processes to ensure stakeholder synergy, and capture valuable commercial contracting metrics to inform better decision-making by GTM and Finance stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualified lawyer in your location (mandatory)
Technically an excellent commercial contracts lawyer. (Be prepared to give examples of difficult negotiations and specific legal points you’ve tackled.)
Previous in-house experience in similar roles
Passionate about working for a tech scale-up, specifically in HR-tech
