About the role

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and high search engine rankings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to WordPress, plugins, and hosting environments.
  • Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Conduct website audits to improve SEO, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional WordPress websites.
  • Manage version control systems (Git) and follow best coding practices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality.
  • Ensure website security, backups, and regular updates.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams as needed.
  • Execute and oversee Pardot forms, landing pages, and email templates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
  • Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of website performance optimization and security best practices.
  • Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Divi or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how to implement them within WordPress.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with implementing Pardot forms on a website or with similar platforms like Hubspot.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce website development.
  • Familiarity with headless WordPress and decoupled architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
  • Experience with server management and cloud hosting platforms.
Benefits
  • Full-Time Position M-F from 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time
  • Salary: 2,500USD -3,000USD
  • Location: 100% remote for candidates based in LATAM.
  • Contract: Independent Contractor
  • PTO: 10 Days Yearly
