About the role
- Design functional data solutions, including processes, data models, and quality control frameworks; Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document data quality rules in line with governance principles; Review and sign off on functional designs, ensuring alignment with data architecture and strategy; Support business initiatives through the full project lifecycle, including go-live readiness; Provide guidance and best practices to ensure consistent data quality and compliance; Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within Corporate & Investment Banking data initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT and big data projects; Proven experience with data governance tools; Strong SQL skills; Solid understanding of CIB business areas such as markets, global banking, or transactional banking (including pre/post-trade activities); Technical degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; High level of English (B2+ or higher); Experience working with public cloud providers (Azure or AWS); Preferred: Experience in banking or financial services data projects; Familiarity with Agile project methodologies; Other Requirements: Willingness to relocate to Málaga, Spain.
