About the role
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to inform strategic decision-making
- Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, or potential issues requiring attention
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to streamline financial operations
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation
- Lead budgeting processes by developing forecasts and monitoring financial performance against budgets
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering continuous improvement in financial procedures
Requirements
- CPA required
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation
- Excellent analytical skills for account analysis and financial reporting
- Ability to develop budgets and perform variance analysis effectively
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and coordinate cross-departmental activities
