About the role
- Lead the re-architecture and rebuild of Spotlite’s platform
- Span existing marketplace (Marketplace 1.0)
- Oversee next-generation AI-powered IP protection and digital identity platform
- Provide architectural authority, long-term ownership, and technical leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience (MLOps or data-only profiles are not a fit for this role)
- Strong real-world experience with Node.js in production
- Hands-on experience with backend frameworks (e.g., NestJS, Express)
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Experience with ORMs and relational database design
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
- Frontend development experience with React / Next.js
- Ability to build UI using a design system
- Proven ownership of products over time (not short-term POCs)
- Ability to work effectively in English with non-Korean speakers.
