About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-line support to users via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktop, server, network, and cloud environments.
- Log, manage, and own support requests through to resolution or escalation.
- Communicate with users in a clear, professional, and friendly manner at all times.
- Assist with procurement queries, software licensing, and general IT advice.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Set up and configure new desktops, laptops, and printers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role (MSP experience desirable but not essential).
- Solid understanding of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- A logical thinker with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Ability to be flexible and work to changing priorities.
