About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in implementing cloud infrastructure as code (primarily Azure) to support applications
- Work with data storage systems under guidance from senior team members
- Help develop and maintain automated workflows for deploying applications and infrastructure
- Participate in troubleshooting and incident resolution, documenting solutions and preventive measures
- Collaborate with engineers and non-technical team members to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks
- Learn and apply CI/CD, automation, and monitoring best practices
- Follow security best practices and assist in implementing controls to protect data and infrastructure
- Contribute to team documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering, or related IT roles (internships and projects count)
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (VNETs, DNS, routing)
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, etc.)
- Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub)
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
- Familiarity with concepts like containerization, serverless functions, or automation workflows is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience and/or technical certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) will be considered
