About the role
- Serve as primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key channel partners, building and maintaining long-term strategic partnerships
- Execute plans for implementing partner solutions, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and sourcing strategies
- Lead Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews (QBRs/ABRs) with partners to track performance and refine strategies
- Manage technical and product validation processes for partnerships and troubleshoot/optimize integrations across departments and vendors
- Support product demos, sales cycle, and solutions-based selling; use sales forecasts and adoption milestones to refine product configurations
- Establish feedback loop with Sales, Client Services, and customers to adjust configurations for adoption and upselling
- Collect and leverage market, customer, and partner research; perform annual competitive analyses of peer review and workflow management systems
- Support go-to-market activities: implement solution packages/tiers, collaborate on customer launches, and evangelize product innovations in webinars and client events
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Deep understanding of the scholarly publishing community and its processes
- Experience in a professional technology, services, or publishing organization
- Display knowledge of PowerPoint, Salesforce, and publishing workflow solutions
- Excellent communication skills; proactive and driven
- Experience in leading projects and strong business partnering skills
- Proven history of achieving results in an international environment, with appreciation of differences in culture and business frameworks
