About the role
- Senior-level Business Analyst supporting moderately complex projects to deliver IT solutions meeting cost, quality and strategic targets
- Focus on gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices and identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications
- Gathering and synthesizing business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis
- Mapping and evaluating current-state processes, identifying inefficiencies, and formulating optimized, future-state workflows
- Translating business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications that guide system design and development
- Supporting solution design through active engagement with developers, QA teams, and project managers, ensuring end-to-end alignment of scope, quality, and business value
- Utilizing analytical tools and methodologies to uncover trends, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement
- Serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders and contributing to strategic planning by identifying systems and process changes that deliver measurable impact
- Facilitating agile ceremonies
- Working on an AI based critical decision support platform for the Medical/Healthcare community
Requirements
- Expertise in eliciting business and functional requirements through stakeholder engagement, interviews, and workshops
- Ability to clearly translate business needs into functional/technical documentation for development teams
- Familiarity with SDLC/Agile/Waterfall Methodologies
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or custom applications
- Ability to work effectively with developers, QA testers, project managers, and business stakeholders
- Lead discovery sessions, JAD sessions, and solution reviews
- Presentation skills to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Stakeholder management and ability to navigate competing priorities
- Business case development skills to justify proposed improvements
- Change management awareness
- Strategic thinking and alignment with organizational goals
- Facilitation of agile ceremonies
- Ability and desire to communicate and collaborate with both Technical and Non-Technical team members
