About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and other stakeholders to craft and execute a targeted messaging strategy tailored to the unique dynamics of the Government market
  • Develop compelling positioning documents and strategic narratives to elevate the visibility of LexisNexis Risk Solutions solutions that help programs fight fraud, reduce waste, and fight abuse
  • Drive revenue through proactive business development activities, working closely with sales teams to establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders within targeted Government agencies and programs
  • Create impactful presentations, collateral, and engagement plans to support sales efforts
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within Government entities, including executive staff of agencies and influential industry groups
  • Function as the key representative of our brand at relevant conferences, speaking engagements, and industry events within the State and Local Government market
  • Collaborate with the Sales Leaders and cross-functional teams to develop creative campaigns and materials that resonate with Government audiences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 8 years of proven success in the government market
  • Experience in program integrity functions such as Medicaid/CHIP (including MCO/managed care oversight), SNAP, TANF, Unemployment Insurance, Child Care, WIC, General Assistance, State Tax/Revenue, Workers’ Comp (where applicable), and other benefit programs
  • Strong knowledge of the Government sector, including its specific regulatory and operational dynamics
  • Experience collaborating with teams to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders
  • Previous experience as a representative at conferences, speaking engagements, and industry events
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 50%
