About the role

  • Lead the charge on NAUK Cases primary content delivery engine, driving end‑to‑end operations that ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency across judgments and other primary law materials.
  • Shape and execute an operations strategy that strengthens content integrity, accelerates delivery cycles, and improves quality through data-driven process management and responsible use of AI.
  • Oversee caselaw processing, enrichment, validation, and publication workflows—ensuring the content on LexisNexis platforms is authoritative, current, and trusted.
  • Manage and adhere to SLAs set by the business, with primary accountability for timeliness and quality across for multi-regional teams that support US, Canadian and UK case law content workflows.
  • Anticipate peaks and troughs within cases and primary law publishing by cross-training and managing editors across the multiple regions to pick up work across other jurisdictions.
  • Build, coach, and inspire a nimble and high-performing operations team; foster accountability, continuous learning, and AI-first thinking.
  • Lead and advance change management within the NAUK Cases organization.
  • Monitor and act on KPIs (cost efficiency, productivity, turnaround time, content freshness); provide executive-ready reporting and recommendations.
  • Review, revise, and develop additional meaningful metrics to improve reporting and reduce churn.
  • Serve as operational SME for supporting Lexis+ AI developments, ensuring content is structured and tagged optimally for emerging AI experiences; partner with Product and Tech teams to embed AI solutions into core workflows.
  • Own relationships with vendors and shared-services partners, negotiating SOWs, tracking SLAs, and optimizing global resourcing models.
  • Champion best-practice processes across regions, harmonizing tools, and governance with Global Editorial counterparts.
  • Engage and present to senior leaders regularly to confirm strategic alignment, surface risks, and celebrate wins.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or related field.
  • Studies in legal or JD preferred.
  • 8+ years in content, publishing, or information-services operations—ideally with legal, regulatory, or professional content.
  • Demonstrated success refining and executing strategic roadmaps that deliver cost, quality, and speed improvements.
  • Proven people-leadership experience, including building hybrid, multi-region teams.
  • Expertise with data-visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, advanced Excel) and comfort using LLMs to analyze large data sets to drive decisions.
  • Strong financial acumen and stakeholder-influencing skills within highly matrixed organizations.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Gen AI/agentic AI in content workflows a big plus.
  • Excellent presentation skills and advanced understanding and capabilities with PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to work across a portion of North America, South Africa, and UK business hours.
