About the role
- Set and execute the new business sales strategy for your assigned territory.
- Identify high-potential markets, sectors, and solutions, capturing untapped opportunities.
- Champion value-based and consultative selling (3Cs sales methodology), ensuring client engagements are outcome-focused.
- Drive pipeline generation and conversion for existing accounts and new logos.
- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key prospects and partners.
- Oversee complex enterprise sales cycles, including RFPs, negotiations, and contract closures.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled and data-driven solutions, articulating their impact to clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and client success teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Champion a collaborative environment, contributing to a high-performance culture.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.
- Provide feedback to product and strategy teams to inform roadmap and positioning.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and ensure CRM and sales tools are effectively utilized.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of enterprise sales experience
- Proven success in defining new business strategies, capturing growth opportunities, and executing commercial expansion
- Expertise in value-based and consultative selling within complex enterprise environments
- Strong track record in AI-enabled, SaaS, or data-driven solution sales
- Executive presence with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
- Strong business acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Industry expertise in commodities, energy, chemicals, supply chain, or adjacent markets
- Ideally based in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Pennsylvania. We are open to flexibility on location for the right candidate.
