About the role
- Interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements
- Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components
- Completing complex bug fixes
- Working closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
- Successfully implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
- Operating in Agile development environments while collaborating with key stakeholders
- Resolving complex technical issues as necessary
Requirements
- Proven track record in software development
- BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices
- Ability to translate designs into development plans, including API and Microservice implementation
- Expertise in .Net, C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL
- Strong experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Cognitive Search, Blob/Table Storage, CosmosDB, Data Factory, and API Management
- Proficiency in version control, TDD, CI/CD, Clean Code principles, code review, performance testing, observability, telemetry, monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Ability to interface with other technical personnel to finalize requirements
- Experience mentoring junior developers
