About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain new and replacement content sources across multiple content types
  • Perform end-to-end conversion troubleshooting for digital and print formats
  • Analyze XML, HTML, Word, InDesign, and PDF input data for conversion handling and metadata accuracy
  • Resolve XML markup and structural issues across content types
  • Ensure outputs align with product requirements and downstream platform behavior
  • Create and execute UAT plans and test cases
  • Validate functional and non-functional requirements across content and platform workflows
  • Track, triage, prioritize, and validate defects using tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Maintain and improve QA checklists, business rules, and acceptance criteria
  • Monitor content data pipelines from editorial through conversion to customer-ready delivery
  • Diagnose and remediate data, conversion, and integration issues
  • Coordinate with Editorial, Product, Engineering, QA, IT, vendors, and offshore partners
  • Investigate and resolve customer-facing concerns
  • Identify and support automation and AI-enabled workflow improvements
  • Contribute to modernization and migration initiatives by evaluating impacts, dependencies, and risks
  • Support improvements to conversion frameworks, blueprints, and workflows
  • Maintain documentation, standards, and governance
  • Communicate issues, risks, decisions, and impacts clearly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in content operations, digital publishing, technical operations, project management or related field
  • Hands-on experience with XML, XSD, and markup troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with XSLT/XPath
  • Experience monitoring content data flows and resolving production issues
  • Strong systems thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • High attention to detail and quality mindset
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience in automation and AI-enabled workflows
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira is a plus
