About the role

  • Execute on projects sold by the Relevant Industrial Sales team
  • Manage all activities for assigned projects in accordance with the project schedule
  • Direct and coordinate the engineering design team, subcontractor activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the client for project-related activities
  • Responsible for administrative tasks, forecasting and planning
  • Risk identification, change order management, billing and payments
  • Field service, project initiation, subcontractor management, resource management
  • Ensure project scope or work schedule and budget are clearly defined and understood
  • Establish project procedures consistent with contractual documents and quality plans for all engineering work
  • Determine and oversee all project controls, schedule and budgets
  • Identify and secure necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget, and/or schedule
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements
  • Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Maintain company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
  • Communicate with suppliers, operations and other necessary project groups
  • Develop professional relationships with customers and provide support as necessary
  • Work independently to complete workload assignments; meeting milestones and deadlines
  • Participate in internal kick-off meetings and sales hand-off meetings

Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with project management, methodologies, and best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detailed problem solving and project execution skills
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both customer service and technical concepts
  • Previous experience with the following:
  • o Experience in negotiating and managing contracts.
  • o Project Control (scope, schedule, quality, and budget)
  • o Developing customers relationships
  • o Managing subcontractors
  • P21 Experience helpful
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products, MS Project and Adobe Acrobat is a must
  • A combination of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be considered.
