About the role
- Design, build, and operate enterprise-grade back-end systems relating to SSO, RBAC/permissions, audit logs, compliance tooling, and data visibility.
- Drive key initiatives around reliability, scalability, performance, and security to support enterprise adoption.
- Translate customer and business requirements into robust technical designs in collaboration with product and go-to-market teams.
- Own projects end-to-end - from system design through to deployment and long-term maintenance.
- Contribute to platform architecture and technical strategy as the enterprise surface area of the product expands.
- Set and uphold high standards for code quality, maintainability, observability, and security.
- Mentor engineers, share best practices, and help raise the overall bar for back-end excellence.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally back-end focussed and in fast-growing or enterprise-focused environments.
- Experience delivering enterprise features such as SSO, permissions systems, audit logs, or compliance frameworks.
- Strong skills in modern web technologies, ideally TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Experience designing and operating APIs (REST or GraphQL) and distributed systems.
- Passion for designing and building scalable and fault-tolerant systems for real-world users in enterprise environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across product, design, and commercial teams - translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Ownership mindset — proactive in driving projects, solving problems, and improving systems.
- Passion for AI and eagerness to build innovative, category-defining products.
